| Those who find hiking not quite exciting enough may like to try rock climbing, which is hiking vertically upwards, mountaineering, which is hiking vertically upwards with snow, or caving, which is hiking vertically downwards (except for the return journey, which is hiking vertically upwards underground).
The location for these climbing lessons are in the Benaojan and Montejaque climbing schools. Trained instructors are on hand and equipment used will include ropes, harnesses, gri-gri, cat shoes, pegs and cleats.
You will be briefed then demonstrated the different types of climbing techniques. You are given an initial training course and shown the opening path. The course is done in Caliza stones, with paths of different difficulties available depending upon the climbers confidence and ability.
